Faceted like a cut diamond, the Akako Vase is mouth-blown glass with a sharp, angular profile. Vivid coral sits against a deeper, near-black surface, so the whole piece glows when light catches it from any direction.
At nearly 16 inches tall and 13 inches across, it is scaled to lead a vignette rather than fill one in — an entry console, a bar, or the center of a dining table. It is watertight, so branches and fresh florals are fair game, though it holds a room perfectly well standing empty.
